CLASSES FOR ADULTS



Beginners Courses - NEXT COURSE OCTOBER 2025

This course will get you familiar with the basic moves of capoeira and give you a chance to apply them in a fun and safe way with our experienced instructors. We'll also introduce the music and rhythms of capoeira. Anyone of any level is welcome to these classes; you don't have to be super-fit or know how to do a cartwheel to enjoy learning capoeira!! Come and find a new passion and some great friends...

Capoeira Movement/Skills Class - Tuesday 7 - 9pm

Our capoeira progressions class is open to all, and we use games and movement challenges throughout. In this class we also explore capoeira techniques, as well as working on the key fundamentals of co-ordination, mobility and strength. It's also a space to learn new skills, and each student is given a plan to work to their own goals.




Capoeira Movement/Skills Class - Thursday 6.30 - 8.30 (7.30 - 9 during our October beginners course 16, 23, 30 Oct)

Monthly Roda - New Barrack Tavern, Hillsborough



Capoeira is more than just movement and music. Its also a builder of community, so our monthly Roda is a Friday social gathering where we get together to play, sing and chat. Contact us if you'd like to come along. All welcome :)

PAYG: Student £6, Regular £8

Monthly: Student: £35, Regular £50


Classes can be paid on a PAYG basis or with a monthly payment which gives access to all classes. The Roda is always free, so if you don't have much time or are carrying an injury just come along and enjoy the music and community.

CLASSES FOR KIDS



Kids Classes - Tuesdays 6 - 7pm

​7+ and experienced

Children will learn the moves of capoeira in a fun and safe way with lots of games and interaction. They will build confidence, friendship, strength and skill as they put together the techniques into sequences and capoeira games in the roda (performance circle). Classes are £6 per session
